arm swing

Two years ago a severe back injury stopped me from playing however after I semi-healed I rushed back into playing way too soon. I "invented" a swing that keeps my lower back and legs out of it. I use a violent release of the wrists down with irons and through with driver/FW woods. I'm doing okay - plenty of power however a bit inconsistent however I am back playing and enjoying it. HOWEVER - I can't get out of a bunker immediately! My old "true" golf swing is gone and this back saving pseudo swing is so ingrained in my pea brain immediately that I can't swing with no firing my wrists. You can visualize the horror in the sand! I am gonna spend an hour in the practice bunker prior to I play today - I hope I do not hurt anybody. Any ideas? -Dayll

How do you trigger your swing

I've noticed that if I do not conciously employ a trigger to begin my swing that's not arm related I truly struggle. The greatest one for me is a slight right Knee kick to the right. I in fact do this right prior to I take the club back and again to begin the down swing. This seems to gain my hips turning instead of sliding and my legs action and weight shift are improved.
