Read more on this topic Newbie Question About BackswingSorry, newbie here so forgive me if this sounds ignorant.I'm 41 and only began golfing this year and so has my 11 year of age son (by the way I only ordered him a custom collection of sized clubs).. As a beginner the one thing I've noticed more than anything is how experienced golfers lock they are left elbow on the back swing (right handed)however I've yet to study, hear or watch anything that mentions this. Can somebody shed a number of light on this? Is it greatest, as a beginner, to maintain the elbow locked and just swing as far back as likely until I become more flexible? My biggest difficulty is currently being able to obtain a consistant swing, especially with my driver, hence the reason I've been researching the backswing. Thank you Cuz Read more on this topic success stories with stack and tilt swingI had the ultimate desire to to initiate a thread about stories of great achievement with stack and tilt or somepeeps who need assist with this method swing. I am from the chicago area and got to play at cog hill yesturday and shot a 79. I've been tweaking wit this swing for about 2-3 weeks and i would prefer to share my experiences with it and the way i swing with it. The article say that you should tilt and to restrict turning off the ball since they focus on the centers. Well i tried what they said was blocking all to the right or skulling shot due to the push off upward. I discovered with tooling around amongst swing is that you're able to turn however you ought to also tilt also to maintain the centers over the ball. I have read that you should pull up for the downswing, you can hit it crips however it can lead to flipping of the hands or pushes to the right. So i experimented with turning the hips out of the way so that hands have a path to swing since u are swinging your hands inside and it has helped me gain distance and command of the shot. For people who have trouble amongst driver i've discovered that this helps out amongst pull shots, you also need to make certain that your left arm matches the shoulder plane, if not youll be to much around your body and cause wild shots. I'd like to hear back from others who've tried it, i do not think this stack and tilt is the following greatest thing however only a swing thought that has made me an improved player.Read more on this topic Other Golf Related Topics
