![]() Warm-Up Swing - Grass?When playing my first hole with every different club i use, i consistantly attempt to have several warm-up swings. With this, i never move on and strike my ball until i'm getting consistent, 'great' amounts of grass contact. By great i dont mean digging divots however only a steady amount of contact.I'm only wondering whether this is such a large deal after all. Read more on this topic Try this: the Proper "Wrist Set" on your backswingThis'll work I promise you To feel the proper set for you, hold the club as you would using your left hand (if you're a righty). Then, using your right hand, grab your left forearm only below your wrist using your thumb on top of your left forearm. Put yourself in a great setup position and make a backswing to the half way – three quarters position and enable your left wrist to “set” as you take it back. At the half way position, the butt of the grip ought to be pointing down towards the ground and you'll locate the club in an ideal “set” position. The reason for this is for the reason that in purchase for your left wrist to assist the club on it is own, the club must be in a position that's lightest and easiest to hold, and on plane! This position of your arm, club, and wrist is a key point in your backswing. If you are able to pass through this position on your backswing and maintain no different angle of your left wrist and club during transition, your swing will become more consistent.
