![]() Draw and Fade ShotsI was told to create a draw, you should align your body to the right of the target while your clubface points at the target. To create a fade, you align your body to the left of the target and the clubface faces the target.BTW, I only tried last night at range.... my shots only go left when I attempt to create a DRAW and go right when I attempt to create a FADE. My swing path is still no different as when my body is align amongst target. Any correction? Read more on this topic ShotLink Data Article by Dave PelzI read an interesting article that shows how golfers of any handicap range can boost by comparing ShotLink data from the pros to ShotLink data collected at Planet Earth Amateur Handicap Championship. The majority of the data is pretty common sense stuff. The single thing that surprised me is this: 10 handicappers make twice as a lot putts from 15' to 20' as scratch golfers (that they make half as a lot as PGA Tour pros isn't surprising). The 20 handicappers make those putts 17% of the time!!! I wonder if that is for the reason that they are more probable to be putting in that range for par (or bogey) than birdie (a lot of the community are better par/bogey putters than birdie putters). Or maybe for the reason that scratch golfers tend to die those types of putts at the hole more than the 10 handicappers. Or maybe scratch golfers rea only bad mid-range putters. Thoughts (on not only the putting, however the article as a whole)??? Read more on this topic does this give you a straight shot?My stance for all my shots (wedges through driver) is slightly open. The face is also slightly open at address..not much..only slighlty. I do have a stong grip..can 3 knuckles shown. I attempt to create contact amongst ball on the inner quadrant..between 4 and 5 o'clock. What ought to the path of the ball flight be? I noticed it's either a cut or straight..I would say the majority of the time cutting..which is my desired path. Does this sound right? I assume my strong grips however open stance and open face is balancing every other out for the the majority of part however the open stance/face is a tad more overpowering and thus giving me the desired cut. My question is ought to I weaken my grip slightly..maybe a 2 knuckle or LOWER and line up more square amongst face more sqaure than open? ..plenty of band-aids huh..
