 leftie with rightie tendanciesHi each1,ive been playing golf for 17 years immediately and im currently playing off 10.I play with right handed clubs and use a left handed grip,is there any1 else out there playing no different and if so how are you getting on?
Read more on this topic Left or Right?I've been swinging my club in the following sequence.1. Back swing with left shoulder. 2. At the finish of the back swing, I stay paused for a split second. 3. Hip begin to rotate. 4. I use my LEFT thumb to trigger down swing. 5. Impact with LEFT. 6. My LEFT elbow rotates and LEFT palm faces up. 7. Right shoulder follows straight through. 8. Finish. My buddy keeps attempting to adjust my swing saying that it ought to be the following swing sequence. 1. Same as above. 2. Same as above. 3. Same as above. 4. Use RIGHT hand to feel like you're swing down. 5. Impact with RIGHT. 6. Use RIGHT forearm to rotate and RIGHT palm faces down. 7. Same as above. 8. Same as above. As you're able to view I emphasize on my LEFT side where as my buddy emphasizes on the RIGHT side. Which is right? When I attempt my buddy's swing technique I tend to hit the ball truly high... From the peak of my swing I tend to be flat footed and throw the shoulders at the ball. When I make a concious effort to fire the lower body I seem to throw the right shoulder even more.Although I come into the ball from the inside through impact for the reason that of the action of my right shoulder the club doesn't extend down the target line therefore my divots tend to aim left.
