Range to Course

I only began to gain serious about golfing. I hit on the range most and can get into a great rhythm and truly hit the ball well. It goes straight and it goes far. The dilemma is that I'm able to never, for the life of me, duplicate any of those shots on the course. I fear the dilemma can be me being tense, attempting to hard to obtain the ball where I desire it to go; unlike the range, where I only hit and it goes where it goes.

Advice?

To the range or not?

I've been hitting the ball pretty well this season and I'm pretty pleased with my game immediately. If it was not for my crappy putting I would've at least 2 rounds in the 80's... When I'm hitting my irons well I'm able to hit a nice draw or hit it straight, depending on the situation. However, this weekend I reverted back to my old ways and I hit everything right... not a slice however a "push"... It was very frustrating for the reason that I truly felt that my swing was no different as it has been all year. I hit the range yesterday to attempt to gain my straight/draw shot back however I even now hit all to the right.

I'm hoping it's a temporary lapse, I'm playing again Wednesday night and I'll hit the range Tuesday afternoon in preparation like I consistantly do.

However immediately I'm wondering... Ought to I go to the range today as well? Or ought to I take today off and forget about it? I know it's stupid however I've been thinking about it most since I left the range yesterday and I should get my swing back!

Great pre-round range hitting, terrible round

So what are everybody's thoughts (for an average golfer) on hitting the driving range to warm up prior to a round. This past weekend, i in fact was able to gain to the course a bit early prior to my round, and hit a tiny bucket of balls (i would say 30). I was killing the ball. Aside from several beginning warmup shots, everything seemed to be straight and far.

My round for the day, was abysmal, most likely the worst i have played all summer. It seemed like i only could not aim right, and I was not consistantly hitting the ball well.

Any ideas?

I am truly thinking Aiming right on the course was a biggie, since you do not get no different feel (and consequences for miss-hits) on the driving range, that you do on the course.
