 PuttingI was putting in my basement on a mat last night. I've been working on the putterface square to the arc technique that Stan Utley was talking about in his Golf Digest article a couple months back.I created a gate with 2 balls for the putterhead to pass through. I was hitting the outside ball consistently meaning that I was coming in to out on my swing. Suggestions? I locate my birdie putting stroke is dissimilar than say my par or bogey or bogey+ stroke. It's only not as smooth and I leave the majority of them short.I know it's mental, obviously...I am letting the putt get to me. What can I do to overcome this? It is difficult to practice birdie putts. Standing on a practice green and saying to yourself "okay this putt is for birdie" only won't do the trick. I do not expect to sink each one however I feel I ought to definitely be creating more of them. Any advice?
