![]() Lag puttingMy lag putting from 20-25 feet has been awful. About three weeks ago it began to happen. I had the belief that I could fix it though for the reason that I began attempting to make 20-25 footers and I was blowing them by the hole. So about a week ago I stopped doing that. I'm immediately only attempting to play them with in 3 feet everytime, and I'm able to't do it. 5 Three-Putts today shows that here's the biggest problem in my game!Read more on this topic Putting WoesSo I think I at last hit rock-bottom today for putting.I shot 44 for 9 holes with - get this - FIVE 3-putts, and 7 GIRs. (And zero one putts only to be clear here). I feel like I'm not particularly confident standing over putts, however especially on long putts it truly only feels like guesswork to me. I'm liable to roll the ball 15 feet over the green or leave it 10 feet short.... on a 20 footer. If any of you've had similar difficulties in previous time or think you are able to provide me a number of advice about not just drills to assist me feel the correct distance however also an improved mindset for standing over tricky longer putts I'd be MUCH obliged! Only to add a tiny bit more info, the course I usually play has fairly quick greens and I have utilized a Ping B60 Putter, although I've considered shelling out for something slightly heavier for example a Newport. I truly appreciate your assist in this matter, Michael. Read more on this topic GIR vs Chipping and PuttingHi All,I am about to turn 40 and have played golf for 28 years, amongst last 5 being when I began to take it seriously with lessons, better equipment and many golf (about 1500 holes annually in a Wintery climate). While I'm not a long hitter, I'm accurate enough. Having said that the 2 areas I struggle the the majority of with is GIR and chipping/putting. Over the previous 2 years, more so with GIR as the chipping and putting has gotten better, however I'll still struggle with that and that's when I start shooting in the high 80's, instead of the low 80's or even break 80 the 10 or so times I do a year. If you were me what would you work on the the majority of (knowing I need to work on both) To assist you out, I miss my shots about 50% short, 30% right, and the other 20% left and/or long. I miss the greens around 70% of the time, my greatest day a year ago was 50%. Usually average about 30 to 32 putts. Thank you for any assist. Read more on this topic Other Golf Related Topics
