![]() Help with gripI only recently picked up golf. I played for about 3 months and separated 2 ribs. I needed to take around 4 months off. When I began playing again I'd a terrible slice. I went to obtain a lesson about a week ago. He transformed my grip and immediately all is going straight. My difficulty is I've 3 blisters from the new grip. One on my left thumb. I've replaced my glove and this one is going away. My other 2 are my left for finger and my right ring finger. They seem to be rubbing too much and wearing blisters on every other from when they're interlocked. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or does it only take a number of time to gain used to it? Thank you in advance for the assist.Read more on this topic Show me the proper grip, please?I keep studying threads where an instructor changes the original poster's grip, and boom, hitting with a lot lot more consistency. I keep studying it should not be very tight, and ought to be across the techniques of your fingers instead of nestled towards the base. I'm able to't get those through my head and keep wanting to wrap more of my hand across the grip.I have also watched a number of videos showing the proper grip and resting the grip on the index finger amongst 2 middle fingers providing the pressure. It feels pretty awkward, nearly as if I will not gain the ability to hold the club when I swing through. Any pics / pointers?
