Switching golf coaches?

I created the switch within 24 hours and I like what he told me. My question is this is it sometimes great to create a switch. Has anybody created a switch what happened?

Listed underneath is what my instructors taught and I sought to run this by the forum for review.

Teacher 1

1 Make a strong grip left hand turned over which means.
2. Wished to me to bow my wrist at the peak of the swing closing the club face.
3. Wanted me to pull through with my left side arm and left. I'd hit with a closed club face however my woods I needed to readjust.

Teacher 2

1. Wanted me to have a weaker grip cupped at the bottom.
2. Wanted me to shorten my swing explained im a bigger guy and wanted me to focus on consistency and said I didnt need the large swing im a bigger guy. 5 ft 10 235 large chest. Benched most and did weights in college for 5 years. Anyway he wanted me to maintain cupped and the peak of the swing also.
3. On my move down he wanted my to use my right side to uncoil through impact. He said the timing would come amongst rolling my wrist or release after I practice this. He noticed my left ought to raised sometimes and said it was from being told to pull with my left said and stated thats why I dont like that.

Anyway I hit balls next to a guy who played for a college in Large 10 and I was talking to him who uses no different instructor (2). He watched me swing and mentioned several things and said atleast you're hitting all your balls in the air and they're traveling in a great trajectory.

Anyway I feel like I created the right choice just had the urge to bounce this off you all. I'm nearly pissed for the reason that I feel I paid 1000's of dollars to instructor 1 and never learned the correct way.

Is There Something Wrong with the Way We Learn Golf?

Does someone else ever wonder if maybe all this technical stuff regarding the golf swing, albeit perfectly valid, is only not the greatest technique to discover the way to play?

I have heard many golf instruction about elbow position, club face positions at impact, shaft direction at the peak of the swing, etc. However nobody, and I mean nobody, can consider any of these things while they're actually swinging and expect to hit great shots consistently. Maybe a tip is guaranteed to succeed for one day, or a week, or a few weeks, however eventually it seems to wear off and the same tired mistakes seem to magically reappear. So maybe it's not actually the instruction that's creating the difference, however it's simply that thinking about something specific lets everything else happen naturally with no our own minds interfering.

If history proves one thing, it's that we're always wrong. There will forevermore be new theories, new ideas, and new methods. However the fact of the matter is that in the complete history of golf, the basic idea of the way to hit a golf ball has remained no different. A number of can call it a matter of what is considered no different and what is considered different, however, if you do a number of research, you'll observe that things have not changed all too much. Take a look at this site: http://www.printsoldandrare.com/golf/. A number of the pictures are from prior to the 19th century, and still they most likely look most like a lot of our own swings.

Another example: babies having better swing planes than your average Wednesday night leaguer. This baby has definitely practiced his elbow positions - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av1IZrT8SVA.

I would love to hear all the other people's opinion about this issue. Maybe I am entirely nuts. Or maybe we all are.

Wearing holes in my golf gloves

I am wearing holes in my golf gloves (Footjoy) on the fleshy part of my hand (left) about midway between the base of my pinky finger and the outside of my wrist. My gloves just remain usable for about 2 rounds prior to they split wide open. I'm able to see signs of abrasion on a new glove after 15-20 swings.

I am always fighting a tendency to collapse my left arm only prior to impact, which enables my left wrist to collapse and produces duck hooks off the toe. I have recently been concentrating on maintaining a firm left arm through impact, keeping the left wrist flat or slightly bowed at impact. My shots have improved, however this glove thing is new, so I know I am doing something wrong.

I have never had this dilemma prior to and I know these gloves are not defective for the reason that I have worn holes over the previous six I have purchased.

Any ideas of what I am doing wrong? I'm able to't assist however think my grip must be defective, enabling the club to twist in my left hand during the swing.

Where ought to a golf glove show signs of wear or stress if the player is gripping the club properly?

Thank you
