I need chipping help...

I have not been chipping well at all lately. I'm a new golfer and I only have not been instructed at all on chipping. No different goes for 3/4 or lower swings. I played at a course in the outer banks, north carolina area. I shot a 120 and it was pretty much entirely for the reason that of my chipping. I do not think I 3 putted once... at least I'm able to't remember doing so.

The majority of the time I hit the ball truly low and it flied across the green. Feels like I'm coming over the top. I seem to have trouble getting the ball in the air. I use a PW for chipping, for the reason that I'm able to't hit my SW too well immediately.

Any techniques for chipping or under full swings would be good.

Thanks

Any tips on chips

I'd a lesson the other day and have began hitting the ball much better. The lesson covered all my long shots. I played the very following day and found that on a par 4 i put the ball on the green or very near depending on length and the way well I hit it. The dilemma is immediately my chipping. I battle to judge how far i am gonna chip.

Any techniques on the way to chip better?

Thanx!

Yips on Chips

Yep, I've them. It's made my short game a living hell. I once would be an above average chipper about 2 years ago, however all of a sudden, I developed the yips on my chips one summer. I am even blading chips badly enough that they go 20-30 ft. past the hole. Obviously it's mental, however I do not know what steps to take.

Anybody have any advice on what I'm able to do for this dilemma?
