Read more on this topic Need advice for fellow beginner golfer...Well, after a couple years of me playing and having a BLAST with this sport, my dad is lastly going to provide it a shot. He used to golf when he was a kid, however times have changes also including the swing and equipment. I told him I would not let him bring out his woods (actually wooden). Haha. So, I have been attempting to get him on the right track. It is nice for the reason that it is a clean slate and he can develop a swing to suit him with no developing terrible habits like 95% of golfers do when they start. Im not saying he wont, however the truth that maybe I could direct him only a bit to eliminate the common bad habit golfers begin with. My question:I have been looking through the stacks of magazines I need to locate articles for him to study up on for a beginner golfer. The dilemma is, the popular magazines are more for the intermediate/advanced golfer. Not very much for a guy who is discovering the way to swing a golf club or even discover common terminology. Does anybody have links, sites, editorials to refer that have a number of great beginner advice? He knows little to not a thing about posture, form, etiquette, swing mechanics, equipment, etc. I need a starting block for him. It is a clean canvas and I would like to start him right. Thank you!!! The agony does not truly come into play much on an actual golf swing, however swinging a club through the air only being held with my right hand at that point is nearly not possible. The paing eventually subsides a handful of days later. Lastly I am absolutely certain this is due to a lot factors namely 16 years spent competitively bowling, and sitting at a pc all day for work. So does anybody have any tips on how to ease that pain or restrenghten that area of the hand? Thank you! Read more on this topic Other Golf Related Topics
