Shallowing the angle of attack

I'm searching for any techniques that'll assist be to accomplish a shollower angle of attack at impact. My current angle of attack is very steep. Although I generally come from the inside the angle of the shaft on the downswing is very steep. After impact the club head tends to move sharply left, outcomes in deep divots that aim slightly left.

Prior to impact I do achieve a great inside path however for the reason that of the steepness of the angle of attack and for the reason that my body in particular the shoulders tend to unwind very fast if I do not hold the supination of the left wrist through impact I fail to strike the ball correctly.

My swing is therefore totally reliant on timing/luck plus manipulation of the hand action through impact with the aim to strike the ball crisply.

I've indentified my faults to be:

A slightly shut clubface at the peak of the swing.

A slightly flat backswing.

A occasional tendancy to aim left.

These difficulties I'm able to and am solving myself however the following difficulties I'm struggling with.

Firstly stopping the shoulders unwinding to speedily. I need something to gain me to accomplish square or squarer shoulders at impact.

And lastly to reduce the knee flex through impact.

Can you recommend an Instructor?

I'm searching for an instructor in the Northern Virginia/Washington DC area. Anybody have any recommendations for a beginner/intermediate golfer?

I took a collection of introductory lessons last summer at a local golf school and was disappointed by my instructor, who seemed to be on auto-pilot half the time, pointed out several things every lesson specific to my swing at that moment (as opposed to teaching me fundamentals that I could carry with me beyond the lesson) and did not seem all that invested into whether I enhanced my swing. He was a great guy, however maybe only a little burnt out.

I am not searching for a "top 50" instructor, only somebody that enjoys teaching the game and maybe even takes a number of pride in their work. Thank you!
