Uncertain if that info is necessary however there has been alot of shaft talk on here, and a number of you guys would know better then me. Watching the swing, there's a fair bit to like about it....except at impact.I've "the flip". So we had a long talk regarding the 2 lever principle. I'm dropping into a single lever position as the clubhead gets level with my right foot and then feeling for the ball hence the flip. This will definitely be the hardest thing for me to convert from cricket hitter to golf swinger. I did not get it last night and immediately I am uncertain I'll ever get it. As I lay awake last night pondering my dilema I realised that cricket is a one lever game, especially when it amounts to hitting straight down the ground. I've been coached since the 1st time I picked up a bat to maintain the left elbow high and the right hand pushing through for power. It has been ingrained for 25 years so it'll be bloody difficult to break. So the Pro and I are searching for ideas. Things that can assist reset my noggin and have me rotating my forearms properly and releasing the club properly through impact. Swing thoughts, drills, crazy ideas or hypnotherapy are all valid suggestions. Assist me lose the flip. Read more on this topic Other Golf Related Topics
