![]() HItting a draw???I have always heard that if you strengthen your grip using your left hand and keep your right hand no different as prior to (assuming you are right handed) that this'll create a draw. However I was at the range last night and tried this with no success at all if anybody could provide me a number of pointers on this I'd truly appreciate it. I am truly searching for a draw swing to assist me out off of the Tee Box.thank you ZEBRA Read more on this topic I know what I'm doing wrong but don't know how to fix it...I am slicing all my iron shots (except for my PW). Basically, what is happening is--during my backswing--my wrists twist/turn so the club face opens up and then in the downswing I am not closing the face (or bringing it back to the original state) so that--upon impact--the ball launches amongst club face open...either going right immediately or slicing during flight. Is there a drill/method to prevent this dilemma?I do not have a clip of my swing, however I will attempt listing it out for you: 1. Address position: ball is in the center of stance (maybe a tiny bit more towards front foot for 3/4/5 irons) with feet 1 ft apart from every other. I stand relatively far from the ball for the reason that--I locate--when I stand closer/regular distance I tend to hit down early instead of a clean hit. 2. Weight transfer to right side. 3. Upper body twisting. 4. Arms move to 8 o'clock prior to right arm bends and pulls left arm up to the 'coil' position. 5. Weight starts transfer to left 6. Lower body starts to uncoil the upper body as arms come down 7. Arms come down with--what I am seeing as--not enough counter wrist twisting. 8. Ball slices. Uncertain if this helps however I was hoping maybe somebody with a similar problem who managed to solve it could provide a number of insight. Thank you in advance. -N Read more on this topic "over the top" compared to "two-plane"Is there a difference here? Even the possibility of I swing smoothly I even now come over the top a tiny bit, according to individuals who have watched me. I hit it straight anyway many the time, however my misses are a pull with a smoother swing, and a slice if I am attempting to kill it. I'm able to sortof feel out a fade or a draw if I need it and have a level lie.I am wondering if I only have a 2-plane swing? What are the differences between over-the-top and 2-plane? I attempt hard not to swing over the top however truly only do not get how! Read more on this topic Other Golf Related Topics
