![]() Green side fluff...I get up and down at a high percentage from tight lies however I truly struggle when my ball ends up sitting in the short fluffy rough that's outside the "fairway cut". I have tried 2 different approaches:1 - Use my 60* wedge and play it similar to a chip shot. This nearly never works as I either get a large clump of grass b/t club and ball, or I nearly go right under it. Either way the ball ends up only a few feet ahead of me. 2 - Use my pitching wedge and play it similar to a chip shot. I've had a bit more great achievement with this however it's difficult to judge distance, esp. since I'm able to't put any spin on from this lie. Seems like anytime I attempt this the ball flies well past my target. Ought to I attempt playing this similar to a bunker shot and only blast out of there? What works for you guys? Read more on this topic Cutting across the ballHey guys. Okay, I know what my difficulty is, however i cant fix it. A very good golfer at a course pointed out my problem. What happens is when i get to the peak of my swing i like twist my body and that causes me to come across the ball and it slices to the left. I'm a left handed golfer. What is truly weird is over the previous couple years I'd crush them dead straight, sometimes with a slight fade. this whole summer though has been a battle all for the reason that of the slices. The guy who watched me hit said I had my shoulders to involved and I was rotating them to much. I consistantly go to parallel and at times when I would like to crush it i may go a touch past. Dont think I'm a hacker and I only swing as hard as I'm able to. It's a great swing with great tempo. Any ideas for the way to assist fix what I'm doing wrong? Your assist is much appreciated!!Read more on this topic How can this happen?I only dont understand it. Ive been working all summer on attempting to strike down on the ball for the reason that I hit alot of thin shots. Go to the range for about a week and was pounding down on the ball hitting good shots. Go to the course and play well, shoot 79 and then 82 the following day. What I had done was to make many more resistance in my upper body when I take the club back and it was working good. Go to the range yesterday and hit the ball like crap. Go to the course within 24 hours and shoot a 50 on the front nine. I'm able to honestly not remember the previous time I've achieved this. Thank god it began to pour on us and we had to leave. This is unbelievable, I genuinely forgot everything and only couldnt hit the ball today, I haven't ever had a golf club feel so terrible in my hands, it was pathetic. I only dont know what steps to take immediately to solve this, go to the range or put the sticks down for a handful of days.Read more on this topic Other Golf Related Topics
