where did it go?

I practice @ day in my BYard with a wedge... I'm able to hit 'em out to about 70 yds... a year ago I could CONSISTENTLY put 'em w/i 6' of my basket.... not any more... immediately I'm able to't hit 'em anywhere CLOSE to the basket...
it's pathetic... I prided myself on my short game, as it was all I practiced for the the majority of part. Immediately, I am ashamed for anybody see me hit a ball, 'cuz it's BAAAAAAD....
where did it go? and How can I get it back? I swing precisely the way I had the belief that I had been... however this ain't right. I spent all spring/summer working @ the range, immediately I'm able to't even hit a wedge in my own BY.....
I took lessons and all that....immediately I am uncertain if it's worth all the effort and $$...and time. Maybe a number of folks were not meant to be golfers.... it shouldn't be of any concern how much the attempt..... where did it go.....

Feel VS Technical by Handicap

The majority of individuals tend to learn and play more from one or the other a technical or analytical perspective, I believe. I'm curious how this corresponds by handicap level. As I get better I'm becoming more and more feel oriented. Timing and when things happen more than what is happening I guess.

Getting club stuck behind

I have heard the term of "getting the club stuck behind you." What does this mean and what's the effect? Is a certain type of golfer prone to this fault?

I am asking for the reason that sometimes when I am practicing I will make what I think is a great swing and the ball will slice dramatically. Only scoots off to the right very low. Happens the majority of often with my wedges and if I do it once, it is certain to often repeat until I put the club down, walk away for two minutes or pick up a new club. Somebody mentioned to me that perhaps the club was getting stuck behind me.

I expect it's for the reason that I only created a lousy swing, picked my head up, etc.
