![]() Something has happenedMaybe I am overreacting, however I've been playing for only over a year (well, serious golf for that long. I mean, I went to the range like 1-2 times a year prior to a year ago, when I truly began to attempt and become a golfer, not only a individual who plays.) However anyway, I am hitting everything fat. I guess I am only dropping my shoulder, and only not hitting it well at all. The past 36 holes have all been horrible with my irons. Fat, lazy hooks are generally what happens. The pro I work with (sister's boyfriend) told me that when I get lazy with my swing, I do not finish it and simply roll my wrists over in an attempt to attempt and receive the club square at impact...well, I should be rolling them over too much, and not finishing my swing at all for the reason that it has only been unbelievable. Even with my PW I will hit fairly crisp, however it'll be 20 yards left of my target with only a LARGE "Driver-Like" hook. Today I went to the range, and after about 20 balls with a 7-iron, my dad and I were attempting to figure it out. I was trying everything - only attempting to focus on completing my turn and keeping my eye on the ball, and more significantly finishing my swing, however not a thing seemed to assist. All my timing only seems sooo off immediately...I've zero self-belief over the ball. I shot 86 the other day for the reason that I got up and down everytime. GW-LW I've no trouble hitting it straight and I do not hit it fat at all...so My dad and I figured we'd only attempt 8 iron punch shots to attempt and receive my tempo and ball striking self-belief back, however even that I could not do all that well./rant I guess why I'm posting this is only to vent, however I guess any ideas would be pretty cool. Read more on this topic Good divot start point = Pro contactI recall studying a while back either on golf.com or golftipsmag.com a lesson (cannot remember under what category) discussing divots, their starting point and their relation to where you address/tee up the ball. I was hoping to work on the start point of my divot recently (my divot usually starts a bit behind the ball - most certainly the're shots where I don't take a divot at all) however cannot locate no different lesson I was searching for.Does anybody remember seeing this lesson? Also does anybody have great pointers on taking a perfect divot (starting AT the ball and not behind). I envy Tiger's capability to rip up the field, however even smaller "LPGA" divots will keep me happy.
Read more on this topic Torn Labrum...need adviceIn the brief time I have been a member here, I have come to respect a lot of the individuals that post and so I've a question and hope somebody has a number of great advice.Had an MRI a week ago knowing something in my right shoulder was not great and hoped for the greatest. Well the outcomes show a pretty bad tear in my right shoulder (Labrum). I am a right handed player so the great thing is that it is not my impact side. Doc feels if I'm able to live through it, that I ought to attempt since I only go back to playing after reconstruction of my knee. I know, I am 45 and falling apart!! Anyway, with no having to adjust my complete swing. Is there any advice somebody can have? Has someone else ever dealt with an injury like this? I hate to shut down prior to the season is over. Thank you in advance. Read more on this topic Other Golf Related Topics
