Fluffy lies

I play in Georgia. The Bermuda rough tends to thicken up this time of year. Going right under many chips and pitches across the green, especially on uphill lies. It's not so bad on longer shots for the reason that I take a bigger swing, it's the delicate shots where there's not much green to work with that cause the the majority of trouble. Thank you in advance.

This will definitely be tough to contend with on the course. I am hoping as time goes by I'll discover every club better. Also the guy at counter in the pro shop was watching me. He brought it to my attention that I am not taking a long enough break between hits. I am moving along too fast. He says the ball will go farther or only as far if I take more time to set-up between shots. This can be the reason club transitioning is tough at first
I share my thoughts and posts for the reason that I like the site and the replies have all helped me think regarding the game and my swing.
