I don't understand ......

I began hitting the ball at the driving range about a few weeks and a half ago. I bought a 29 dollar club at walmart and was driving the ball on average 200-225 yards. sometimes 250. Never over 250, kinda makes me upset.
So............ as you see in my other posts I bought clubs and decided to take lessons with a pro. This has worked out well. When I am with him at the Club (absolutely I joined one) he only wants me to hit the irons. OK fine, thats what I do......hit the irons..........ball after ball. I practice nearly everyday.
Anyways.....I bought a Nike Sasquatch hybrid, a #4 17 degree. The thing is NICE I adore to use it, sounds solid. I truly do not care how far I hit the ball anymore I attempt to concentrate on hitting solid and straight.

So things are going OK. I hit all balls off the mat with no tee, I've made use of no tee as of yet. So I figure I'll pick up a new driver...... I get the new Sasquatch Sumo 2 squared. Put the tee in the ground and I feel like I am gonna send this off into space. WRONG! I'm able to't hit it like I did amongst cheap walmart driver. I'll say the sound the thing makes is very disturbing. Sounds terrible and I hit it terrible. I hate the club. I'm able to pick up my 5 iron and hit it well and feel my swing. For a number of reason this new driver only does not do the trick for me? All of you with more experience could you chime in? I vent my concern to my coach, however he still wants to work on the irons, he said at my last lesson I am nearly prepared to move on to other clubs...........What is his game plan. He said a number of drivers are difficult to hit? Is the lesson changed when making use of a driver?

Thanks very much for finishing the long read.

Finally got the breakthrough I need

...I think I did, at any rate. I tried the No-Backswing Swing in September's issue of Golf Magazine, and it did wonders. I got all the distance back that I have lost with my irons since the start of Can. I am actually hitting the ball on the sweet spot, and I am pounding the ball miles. (I've been struggling with hitting the ball off the toe - I have completed it on most likely 95 percent of all my full shots since Can).

I'm immediately pounding the Hell out of the ball, adding a number of thirty percent distance to all of my shots. Today, I was hitting driver, 7 iron into a brief par 5 - something pretty much unheard of me until immediately - and flew the green by 30 yards.

Granted, this was only attempted randomly on the fifth hole today, when I was only messing around. There's nearly no consistency - I developed an unhappy over-the-top causing the occasional banana ball, not to mention I played for a draw so frequently and got a fade, when I prefer to play a draw for additional roll, especially off the tee. Also, I've a difficult time coiling properly with a brief backswing, not enough time to gain into position. I figure, if I'm able to get consistency with this, I'm able to make more par 5's in 2 and shave more strokes.

Thing is, I just have about six weeks left to play any true golf prior to it gets too cold, and I only began on this today. Leaves the large question - can I 1)shoot below 80 and/or 2) get my handicap below a 10 prior to the year is out? I personally think it is a long shot however it's possible. Amongst way I have been hacking it up lately I am most likely closer to a 14 or 15 handicap, however this could be the turnaround I am searching for.

Prospects look great - the shots that did go straight include a 350 yard drive (most likely hit a turtle or something), a 280+ 3 wood, a 210-something 4 iron, and a 7 iron from 140 that flew the green by 30 yards into the mush. Granted, that is with roll and with how dry it's there is a lot of roll, however that is still great carry distance.

Something I should have asked

At my golf lesson the other day my instructor told me that in my prepare my right foot ought to be set square to the line for coil and my left foot ought to flare out to assist generate speed in the swing.

If I set both my feet square to the target line and then flare the left out the left toe moves ever so slightly inside the line.

I have experimented with moving my left toe up to level however this outcomes in a draw. However if I leave the left toe as is I feel too open.

I guess that the question is, does it matter regarding the alignment of your toes or is it the alignment of the heels, hips and shoulders that are more essential?

I understand that this sounds a little confusing, however I'm able to't think of an improved way to explain this. Can anybody understand it and assist me out?
