![]() Horrid round todayToday was the single worst driving round I'm able to remember in recent golfing history for me. Basically I was hitting the ball wayyyyyy off the toe of the golf club to the point where i was nearly missing the face of the club. This was more pronounced with my woods than with other clubs, primarily with my driver. It's strange for the reason that stuff like that I'm able to usually attribute (to be honest missing it that bad is truly unusual for me, however the majority of my difficulties stem from weight transfer) to lack of weight transfer on the back swing however I created a exceptional note of transferring my weight today after the first or second hold to no true avail. The strange thing is that I in fact hit a number of decent iron shots today also including several nice wedges. I also had a handful of identical results with those nearly missing the grooves of the club completely on a couple shots. I am only curious to know what may be causing this and a good way to fix it if it ever happens to you guys. Thank you.Read more on this topic Inside out goes further?Have eventually got my swing on an inside out path with a resulting much better ball flight (for the irons anyway!) Still working on the driver...I seem to be getting a heap more distance immediately. I am hitting it at least a club further, maybe one and a half. What's the reason for this? And not a slice to be seen. Good day
Read more on this topic Hip Turn vs Shoulder TurnI was practicing on the range within 24 hours and hit a number of balls at the finish of my session enabling my right hip (right handed golfer) to more fully turn instead of restricting them.I usually attempt to somewhat restirct my hip turn to enable more of a coil between my shoulder turn and hip turn. When I enabled my hips to more fully turn I had more of a weight shift and hit the ball most further and seemed more consistant. My shoulders also turned a tiny bit more than usual. However toward the finish of my practice sessions, I usually get in a groove and can hit everything pretty consistently regardless of my prepare (in under reason most certainly). Anybody have any thoughts on the way much of a hip turn one ought to make, and the way much you ought to restrict your hip turn versus your shoulder turn?
