Shanks Shanks Shanks

Hey guys, I am in crisis control. I'm a true 6 index however my last three rounds have been hell on earth. For a number of reason I'm shanking each shot! (except driver). I get on the tee hit a long and straight bomb, everything seems good then I step over the ball and right away am feeling something wrong. I feel extremly uncomfortable over the ball immediately and it is killing me.

I feel as if I'm rushing my downswing and am only coming across the ball. I'm able to't fix it and I'm going insane. Has anybody ever had this happen? <-- ie. shot 74 one day and then out of left field you only cant hit a shot for your life, it is incredibly embarressing.

I will attempt to gain a number of video of whats going on tomorrow when I am out on the course.

Drills to help me keep club head square at "the moment of truth"

I've searched a tiny bit about this however does anybody know a number of great drills I could do at your own residence that'll assist me with keeping the club square at impact position. My dilemma is that I once would come slightly over the top and the ball would fade. So I created a number of swing changes to eliminate that, then the ball began shoot right immediately, it was nearly like I'm aiming that way amongst way the ball was flying.

please assist!

Slippery Greens: What do YOU do?

so yesterday was my first time playing a new course, Rancho San Marcos. the golf shop guy advised me to hit several putts at least prior to going out for the reason that, "the greens are running about a 12-12.5 today on the stimpmeter.." I believe the the majority of that I've ever played was about a 10 so i was intrigued. i get to the first green in 3, laying 4 about 15ft from the hole.. putt slips outside left edge and keeps going straight for an additional 7 ft. i baby the following putt and yet rolls out 5 ft from cup. what a cheerful 3-putt. this went on ALL day. and i thought greens running a 10 were fast, i literally felt like i was putting on an ice rink. i had one 1-putt from about 20-25ft up a ridge to save par. thats it. a couple 2's however the rest 3s, 4s, etc.

so this is my question for you all. with greens this fast, i hardly ever got a lip-in putt. if it wasnt in the center of the cup, it went past the hole. even when i'd tap the ball, i only couldnt get it to end. and studying the line of the putt when the ball is moving so slowly was hard as well. i was thinking about hitting the ball a little harder next time to create the ball stay on the line i desire. however, i would need to be spot-on with my putts or else run the risk of having 10-15 ft back to the cup. what do you guys do with these types of greens. play for the right speed(tap the ball) and attempt to study every one of the moves it will definitely make, or hit the ball a little harder to obtain the ball to the middle of the cup and hold the line you desire? hope this all makes sense and everybody's opinions welcome.
